re: corrected dates of lose of Chris Buck, date of passing was the beginning of our second week of school 1963, we were suiting up for football practice we we heard of chris’ passing. chris was our starting center, the whole team was in shock, Glenn Russell and Mark Gullden assumed responsibilities at center for the balance of the season. as to the passing of Glenn Russell, I don’t know the exact date of Glen passing, I do recall hearing of our loss the night he died, it was late summer of 1964, I believe September. In the short space of 1 year so great a loss is still hard to to relive! When I consider how many friends we have lost, and how many class reunions i have missed by virtue of work related travel, and choices to live in more rural states,I must also consider the one time friends I may never see again. let us all resolve to place greater value on ALL OF THE FUTURE CLASS REUNIONS THAT WE HAVE, FOR WE WILL NEVER PASSS THIS WAY AGAIN RODGER INGRAM
